California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

California residents have the right to request, free of charge, that businesses subject to the CCPA disclose certain information to you about their collection and use of your Personal Information over the past 12 months. In addition, you have the right to ask such businesses to delete Personal Information collected from you. You have the right to opt-out if the business sells your Personal Information. You have the right to rectify any incorrect Personal Information. Finally, a business cannot discriminate against you for exercising a CCPA right.


VerificationManager offers these same protections and rights to all employees. To opt-out, request your information be deleted, and/or view your data from the past 12 months, choose from the following options:

  • Login to your VerificationManager account (or create one in just a few simple steps).
    • Note: this is the preferred method of completing the process, as it provides the quickest and most secure method of confirming your identity
    • Click My Account from the main menu.
    • To opt-out of VerificationManager's income & employment services, click My Data Privacy
  • Email help@verificationmanager.com and include details of your request (opt-out, data report, deletion)
    • You will be contacted by our help team to confirm your identity before your request is processed
  • Call (888) 571-2064 and provide our help team with details of your request (opt-out, data report, deletion)
    • You will be required to confirm your identity before your request is processed
